The Asian Society for Hydrobiology (ASH) announces the postponement of the 2025 Interim Symposium, co-hosted by ASH, Kyrgyz National Agrarian University and BK21 FOUR R&E Center.

Symposium Details:

• Theme: Hydrobiology and Vector Ecology in Central Asia: Advancing Regional Collaboration
• Host: Professor Bekbolsun Aknazarov (Email: aknazarov-61@mail.ru)
• Venue: Kyrgyz National Agrarian University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
• Presentations: The symposium will feature five keynote speakers, with additional poster presentation sessions for regular members.
• Registration Method: Contact the Kyrgyzstan LOC or ASH Secretariat team through E-mail by June 1, 2025. (Email: aknazarov-61@mail.ru / asianhydrobiology@gmail.com)
• Registration Fee: 200 USD (Paid onsite, cash only)

  Day 1 (June 30, 2025 - Monday)- ASH Executives & LOC Meeting
  Day 2 (July 1, 2025 - Tuesday)- Symposium presentations
  Day 3 (July 2, 2025 – Wednesday) - Informal seminars & university tour (museum, etc.)
  Day 4 & 5 (July 3-4, 2025 Thursday, Friday) - Field trip & Excursions

This event will serve as a platform to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers working on hydrobiology and vector ecology in Central Asia. As of June 19, the Interim Symposium will be on hiatus, postponed to a later date or year. Further details will be given when the Interim Symposium will commence in the future.
